I pulled it out of the snow base so it is taller than photo. Felt can be removed or covered. Staining on the top of the base - sold as is. Stand can easily be covered with snow or grass. You will need to slide it up the leg of the doll where the hole is. You will have to do carefully get the tip of the metal stand in it and then carefully push up.
