Signed by Chuck Thorndike on back in 1999. This doll came from the Annalee Museum. I think this a prototype and was possibly being considered for the Museum Collection produced in 1997. The jacket is an exact duplicate of a doll from the 60's and has a woven machine embroided tag - characteristic of that period. This is probably a one of a kind!

She was an American gospel singer and songwriter and also a Grammy and multiple Dove Award-winning artist. Very nice detail on the brown hair and make-up. March 2, 1934 – May 11, 2008.
