Annalee Doll Description: Annalee Thorndike completed "A World of Love" in the Fall of 2001 after retiring from the doll company she founded. Designed as a thank you gift to her loyal collectors, it was scheduled to be unveiled at the Annalee Social in June 2002. She did not live to present her final creation. Annalee passed away on April 7th, 2002, two months before the presentation. Dome not included. Dome is item 962087. Prototype, not numbered, original base has split on each side.

It has a split across the top and two on each side of the wooden base. Annalee company had troubles with the bases spiltting so they replaced them for the customers that mailed them back. Otherwise doll is mint.

This outfit is an exact copy of an outfit Annalee use to wear to work. There are a total of three Annalee Artist Dolls and two Annalee Portrait Dolls. Annalee Thorndike put the "whimsy" in whimsical. This open edition portrait doll captures the uncanny likeness of Annalee in one of her favorite outfits. A great Mother's Day gift for any Annalee Collector.

Only available July 2002 - Dec 2002: Suzy was the last Doll Society Logo produced. Great doll for customizing. Summer, beach, sandcastle. Signed "Christine Hoedecker 2002" on the back of her right leg. Christine Hoedecker designed the sandcastle and was a big part in the evolution of the Thimbles Collection. She was the one that I worked with in creating the Sue Coffee Exclusive line. She comes from a family of artists!

Overall fading on the left side of the horse from being displayed. Not noticable unless you move the saddle - see photo near his knee. The front side that has the plaque is fine. Sold as is. Perfect for anyone that wants a horse for their barnyard or Indian Thanksgiving display.

Comes with wooden base, brass plaque numbered and signed by Annalee. Only one face was produced. Patriotic, Colonial. Very common for base to have a few scratches from storage. Doll Society Folk Hero. Dome not included. Dome is item 962087. Perfect to leave out all summer long, especially the 4th of July! Doll can easily be removed of base and displayed without it just sitting in the chair.

Anniversary doll made exclusively for evangelist Dottie Rambo. Box is signed "Love Dottie Rambo". Dottie Rambo died is a tragic bus accident. She was an American gospel singer and songwriter and also a Grammy and multiple Dove Award-winning artist. Very nice detail on the brown hair and make-up. March 2, 1934 – May 11, 2008.
