This set came from the Annalee Museum. Museum. Possible special orders and were never put into the Annalee line and possibily only two of each produced. I remember hearing something about this set being made for a float in a 4th of July parade but can not locate where I read it, possibly in one of the Collector Magazines. A very rare and desirable set of Patritotic Annalee Mice.
Annalee Doll Description: Last one. He has open eyes, ooh mouth, black hair tied in a ponytail, royal blue tri-corn hat lighter blue coat and tails, red and white stripe vest with white jabot, royal blue shoes with white felt buckle. Light staining on botton of feet. I've graded this set as very good due to the amount of fading that happened on his jacket and hat as a result of being on display in the museum. I'd say it faded to a 5 out of a 10- with 10 being mint.
She has open eyes, ooh mouth, white hair, red and white stripe dress, off-white boudoir hat, apron and pantaloons, royal blue shoes. She has a few very small moth nibbles on her foreheard near her hair line. I have repaired them and they are barely noticeable but wanted to mention it. Light staining on botton of feet.

Annalee Doll Description: Last one. Closed eyes with green eyeshadow, closed mouth as shown, white hair, white body, oversized bunny tail, green ear linings. This doll came from the Annalee Museum. Annalee used a 12" cat body from 1966 and added long ears and a huge bunny tail - making it a combination of a cat and rabbit, or "cabbit"!. I have never seen any others like this and it is probably a one-of-a-kind!
Annalee Doll Description: Last one. Olive green bang hat with doll head wearing miniature red bang hat, open eyes, open mouth. This doll came from the Annalee Museum. A bang hat is a faux fur hat with thin wire frame that allows the hat to be bent into any shape imaginable. A flick of the wrist and it's a beanie; another flick and it's over your ears; a left twist gives it a Cossack flavor, or for laughs it can be worn straight up, down, out, in and sideways. Each of the hats is topped with a miniature doll's face wearing a mini version of the bang hat. This may have been designed for a child because it does not have any wire in the bottom and is much shorter.

Annalee Doll Description: Last one. Closed eyes, closed mouth, blonde hair, red, white and blue corduroy top and blue pants. It is very unusal for Annalee to use childrens clothes but she did this on the 18" and 29" kids from the 50's and 60's. This one has the tag in the pants that says 12M. I am guessing this is from the late 50's due to the hair and body. This doll came from the Annalee Museum. Museum tag number is 714. The face artwork is handpainted by Annalee and it is signed by Annalee on the back under the shirt and is a one of a kind. It also comes with a card stating: Annalee Doll Society Museum Doll Auction June 10, 2000. 29-inch 1978 Fourth of July Boy. White sleeves have turned to an off-white and slight shelf dust on tops of feet from being on display in the museum. This is the largest Patriotic human Annalee ever produced. Awesome piece!

Annalee Doll Description: Last one. Two frogs, both have open eyes. Top frog wears a yellow aviators cap, brown goggles, and a white scarf. The frog that rides in the little wicker basket wears purple and white shorts with a white collar. Hot air balloon is orange and yellow with green stars. It is about 14" long and 10" wide. It is very common for the outside of the balloon to become "tacky" from the deterioration through the years of the stuffing that was used in the balloon. You might want to replace the stuffing inside the balloon if it bothers you. A few light stains on the balloon, barely noticeable.
