I did a few reapirs to the tail from wear marks. All of these minor flaws are very common on this piece. Still looks great.

It is in excellent shape for being a larger doll and from 1972. Companion is R5-72a. Democrat. A very rare piece. Annalee only produced the Patriotic Donkeys in 1968, 1972 and 1976. The felt has pulled away from the stitching in the nose area the size of a pencil eraser - only noticeable if you look for it! It probably came from the factory this way but I wanted to mention it. It is in the black line in the halter so it does not show.

This doll is in great shape but it was exposed to cigarette smoke years ago and the white has discolored and has an old cigarette smell. The smell can be easily covered up with Febreze but I will leave that to the owner. Light green stain on right thigh the size of a dime.

Annalee Doll Description: Last one. Open eyes, closed mouth - as shown, orange mane and tail, white body. The body has a very faint spot on the back and some on the belly where it is signed. This doll came from the Annalee Museum and is signed by Annalee on the belly. The museum tag number is 643 and it comes with an Annalee Doll Museum identification tag. Very rare piece - this is the first pony that Annalee ever produced and is a prototype!
