It is very common to have the silver mylar ice to get creases/bends/tears/ripples or scratches from shipping or being in storage. I recommend covering with tin foil if you desire a smooth look or try removing him off the base and have him sit on a bench or in the falling down position on the ice - ouch!

Very common for desk and chair to become unglued from base due to temperature changes. Glue repair might have been done on piece prior to shipping and might need it again upon receipt. I do the best I can to ship these, but once in awhile the desk comes unglued. Not hard to glue, but wanted to mention it.
