Doll Society Animal with numbered brass plaque #1, wooden base. This is considered an Artist Proof. It has masking tape on its back with "8" Penguin & Baby, 1985 Sample, 6/18/85 AT" Annalee would give her approval of the sample by writing her initials "AT" on it. It is #1 and is signed by Annalee on the brass plaque. I have domes that fit this wooden base, the item number is "domesm". This is the first penguin that Annalee produced. A must for the penguin collector.
